We don’t encourage visitors to our Kennel. The only immunity to disease they have comes through mom’s milk, and we have no way of measuring that or knowing what’s being passed on to them, so they don’t even have that when they wean at about 4.5 to 5 weeks. Normally we can’t start vaccines after 5 weeks so they require at least 2 of the 5 forms, a decent high titer Parvo injection, kennel cough injection, wormings and a opportunity with the injections to have more protection inside their systems. And for their protection, if the boston terrier breeder understands what they’re doing, they can’t be seen until they’re eight weeks old because most of the boston terrier for sale are still being spoken for. And if they go home with you, they would require two more dog vaccinations before you send them back to the public.
When we meet, do not bring your dog. Your dog might have “bugs” insensitive to the reality that it’s not ours. It is important to introduce your dog to a new puppy in a stable setting where your dog feels protected and unthreatened. It will take time for any animal in your home to adapt to a new puppy.
When the puppies are eight weeks old…. Kids are having fun playing. Look out for yours. I won’t encourage your kids to pick up one of my puppies until that kid has thoroughly disinfected his hands and sits on the floor. I don’t want a puppy with a broken leg or worse, dropped.
If I have pups that are 8 weeks of age or older, who are not reserved and you wish to view, let me know. Pick two that you would like to see and we will arrange to meet you and show you the pups. However, I request that you be wearing clean clothing and we will request that you disinfect your hands prior to touching the pups. It is also best if the adults do the choosing of a pup. It is so sad to have a little girl or boy have a favorite puppy and mom and dad decide on another, take that one and leave the child devastated! Do not bring your little kids to choose a puppy. They will be happy with ANY puppy that you bring home and you will save yourself and your kids a lot of grief! Older kids…that is another matter, they are old enough to understand certain choices that you may make and not be heart broken by it.
Please respect our time, because we are a working farm. If you have any questions , please feel free to research the Boston Terriers online, email us. If you have any questions , please feel free to research the Boston Terriers online, email us.
We are a tiny breeder and there are no puppies accessible at all times, please contact us to see whether we can soon have any accessible if there is no show on the website.
Do not ask how many goats, calves, sheep or dogs that we own, it is rude. It is the equivalent to my asking to see your W2 form. I can see people calculating in their heads that cattle sell for $1200 each… you have 12, that equals = $14,400. WOW! That must bring in a lot of money every year! You don’t see all the vet bills, the all nighters caring for birthing animals, the crying over a premature birth. The up and downs 12 times a night to be sure that someone isn’t getting squished by mom. All the pooper scooping… What matters most is the home in which the puppy will be spending the rest of it’s life!
Our dogs are chosen for their fitness and appearance with as much consideration. We ‘re doing genetic testing at the moment but there are so few problems this can identify. Because of the period of time we’ve been breeding our dogs come from reliable stock that goes back decades and has been reported to not be associated with many of Boston Terriers’ typical complaints.
For a trainer, Kennels are an valuable resource. Forget the old wife’s story about becoming a dog factory because you have a kennel. When you raise trash, only though you have one batch, you ‘re a dog factory.
Unfortunately, Stud males urinate so as mark territories. A breeder who doesn’t have a kennel will either fence the stud, or he’ll piss in the room. Why are kid dogs having such a poor name? Since people keep them unneutered and do just what instinct wants them to do (mark their territory). Neuter your male dog early and you would most certainly not have a question
I’m not here to be a dogs’ charity, or to help you become a breeder. There are still so many reckless breeders who destroy bitches and puppies because they don’t learn the first thing about Boston Terriers being bred, or the first crucial 3 weeks of growing them. That is an undertaking. When you want a breeder to do something for “cess,” then you have to quit our web.
We are not marketing puppies as high quality to be used because breeders, because not just some puppies can be born. Our puppies are marketed as cherished house dogs, and if marketed by AKC, they ‘re available on a “restricted” list. We increase standard for breed and temperament. Our puppies are not guaranteed to be of show quality. Just a limited number of all puppies who are born of every race are always professional displays.
Occasionally, we sell a litter from storage of my aunt or cousin. My aunt has been breeding for more than 60 years, and my brother for more than 40 years. And I know the stock from which the pups come are outstanding dogs and have been established for quite a long period.
Boston terrier puppies are not vegetarians, so they require food supplies for nutrition. Check your food when you have purchased to see that it mainly does not contain cereals. Quality meals are worth the expense. Unless you want a Vet bill, don’t feed your dog table scraps. Pet food is tailored to the dietary requirements of the puppy! Organic meat fads in dogs worsen kidney failure, Wet food induces stomach illness.. Best is healthy rough kibble.
Beware of people who offer stud service and don’t breed their own dogs with lover boy. What do they care if Fido throws hereditary disorders? Remember, dogs too have diseases that can be passed on by bodily fluids!
f I feel uncomfortable with talking to you, I probably won’t sell to you. I will be asking questions regarding the type of atmosphere the puppy will be living in. It is most important to me to know the lifestyle of the family that will receive one of my pups. I want to match the lifestyle with the personality of the pup so that you have the best fit possible. After all, the next 15 years are going to be spent at your home. They have only spent 8 weeks being hand raised at mine!
